Danielle Mariz Berger is a female multi-disciplinary American designer and artist of mixed Filipino/German ethnicity. Through art direction, editorial and print design by way of risograph printing, Danielle creates visual languages that speak to the intersection of art, race, religion, and academia. She believes that design can be used as a catalyst for examining and showcasing the cross-connections between humankind’s unique identities and worldly experiences through the lens of race, religion, culture, and politics.
Danielle is a recent honors graduate of the Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Communication Design. During her time at Parsons, she was a recipient of the Henry Wolff Communication Design Scholarship. She also had the privilege of studying under the mentorship of Elaine Lopez, Dario Calmese, Luiza Dale, Hsein-Yin Ingrid Chou, and YuJune Park, to name a few.
